Tucker and Dale vs. Evil is a gut busting comedy, both figuratively and literally. The film centers on two swarthy, idiotic and butt-ugly rednecks that both look and act like the dictionary definition of a serial killer, the thing is though they're actually really nice guys that wouldn't hurt a fly. Unfortunately everyone that crosses their path assumes they ARE mass murderers and in their panic to get away from the two they end up offing themselves in increasingly elaborate ways. It's basically a slapstick comedy with lots of gore thrown in for good measure and like Cabin in the Woods it offers a clever new spin on familiar horror tropes.
