Antonia Bird brought together an impressive cast including Guy Pierce, Jeffrey Jones and David Arquette for this strange tale of murder and cannibalism set against the Spanish-American war. It's definitely not your run of the mill slashfest, and in spite of some disturbing and graphic imagery, the film offers more psychological scares than visceral ones.
