Clementine by Cherie Priest

Just about everybody has heard of Boneshaker, and probably a few of the other books of the series, but Clementine has managed to be the least known of any of them, probably because it was published by a smaller publisher. It also happens to be the shortest book in the series, but boasts a really effective lead character and a pace that makes the story just fly by. Definitely worthwhile steampunk.
