It’s impossible to talk about, or think of, Planet of the Apes without associating it with the film’s complex villain Dr. Zaius. Through the eyes of astronaut George Taylor, it’s easy to how Zaius can be viewed as a callous xenophobe toward humans, but the rationale for his belief system is excellent commentary on how mankind can destroy itself with its own technological advancements.
