In terms of fictional scientists, no one can hold a candle to Iron Man Tony Stark's over the top level of bad-assery. He's all of the brains with virtually no geek baggage. He's not socially awkward, inept with the ladies or uncomfortable in his skin in the slightest. He's about as geek-free a geek that ever existed, and perhaps the most resourceful comic book superhero in history.
