Out of all the origins in comic book history, whose could be more bad-ass than Doctor Manhattan, who was transformed into a powerful super being after he was disintegrated by an Intrinsic Field Subtractor and recombined his atoms into the blue-skinned giant we all know and love? Alan Moore is a genius, and Doc Manhattan is easily his most mind-blowing character to date.
