The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey

The 5th Wave has found its way onto a few of our lists this year, and for good reason. As far as alien invasion stories in YA fiction go, it really doesn’t get any better. Aside from just being purely entertaining, The 5th Wave perfectly presents an interesting conundrum that will have you really thinking long after the book is over: how can you trust anyone when the invaders look just like you?
