Allegiant by Veronica Roth

Some folks loved Allegiant, some folks weren’t so keen. It may be the lowest rated of the series in terms of overall satisfaction from readers, but the fact that it is arguably the most talked about young adult novel of the year definitely gets it a spot on this list. Roth’s series as a whole has been one of the more memorable trilogies in recent memory, even if the ending didn’t satisfy the way you wanted it to.
