Steampunk is everywhere! No matter what comic con or renaissance faire you find yourself perusing, chances are you’ll run into a few dozen folks in clockworky glasses and top hats. Some of them are genuine fans of the genre of fiction, and some just think it looks cool. If you aren’t already, The MindHut is here to help you be BOTH! Next time you’re wandering around in an engineer’s goggles and someone calls into question your steampunk fortitude, you can proudly rattle off all of the major points of one of the seminal works of steampunk to put them in their place. Welcome to Steampunk 101; here are fifteen of the most important works of the genre, so you too can have your finger on the pulse of one of the hippest sci-fi subgenres out there.
