Soulless by Gail Carriger (2009)

What happens when you take steampunky goodness and throw it in a blender with classic Universal monster archetypes? Soulless, a great first novel of a really good series that manages to use all the major archetypes of steampunk while still feeling fresh. Ever seen The Wolfman and thought to yourself “This would be better with zeppelins!”? Well then, Soulless is the book to read.
