The fact that works from series like The Infernal Devices and The Mortal Instruments are getting turned into major films is proof alone that steampunk is definitely still a hip thing. Although it may be a while before Clockwork Angel is pushed to the big screen, it is one of the better books in Clare’s oeuvre, and really the standard when it comes to that romantic steampunk thing everyone is reading.
