Bernard Cribbins as Wilfred Mott

Even if you are among the masses that found Donna to be an incredibly irritating companion, nobody dislikes Grandpa Wilf! Technically, he was the companion for the two parts of “The End of Time,” but more would be better. Bernard Cribbins is a screen legend who steals the scene practically every time he’s on screen. Maybe that’s something the Doctor wouldn’t do well with, but we’d love it anyway.
