Fanboys and fangirls of both Neil Gaiman and Doctor Who squee’d with delight when was “The Doctor’s Wife” for the first time, which saw the TARDIS’ essence being placed in a woman’s body, thus doing this fancy literary thing we learned about in school called “personification.” Suranne Jones was wonderful as Idris, and we really wish she could come back every now and then. Sure, it would take some weird explanation, but we’ll just plug our ears and pretend it makes sense.
