The Forgeries of Han van Meegeren

Han van Meegeren was the most ingenious fraudster in the history of art. When his original works were panned by critics, he devised a brilliant scheme to convince them of his talent: he would forge the work of famous artists and pass them off as undiscovered masterpieces. He duped the entire art world, and made millions doing it. Though he was eventually caught, van Meegeren's forgeries are now worth a fortune. Misson accomplished.
