4. Data, Lore, and Lal from Star Trek: The Next Generation

Data is one of the most beloved android characters of all time. He is given the time over the course of the TNG series and movies to grow as a character and pursue various aspects of humanity, most notably emotions. His evil brother Lore and his “daughter” exhibit more human traits, and the tragedy of his daughter’s death made for one of the most moving episodes of the series.
