Nature's Greatest Tricksters

The Margay

The margay may look adorable, but it is capable of some seriously creepy trickery. When its in the mood for some yummy tamarin meat, it perfectly mimics the distress call of an infant monkey. The adult monkeys in the area flip out over the sound, and rush right into the margay's trap. Using unconditional parental love to lure in your next meal? That's a whole new level of bait-and-switch. Don't mess with margays: they will screw with your head.
