The Cuttlefish

For the most part, cuttlefish lovemaking is fairly standard: dominant males duke it out over mating rights to females. But some cuttlefish have learned that ladies prefer deception to muscle power. By disguising themselves as females, these clever devils march past the dominant males, then mate with the gals in plain sight. The strong-men think there's an innocent girl's night going down, while the cross-dressers ensure their genes survive for another generation. Indeed, female cuttlefish seem to prefer the tricksters!
