Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women

At a time when shows like Downton Abbey are hugely popular, it seems like the perfect chance to make a series based on Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women. It was a ginormously influential series, which became a bestseller immediately and led to several sequels. Alcott broke new ground by introducing children’s literature with a touch of romance and drama, creating works that are still pretty frickin’ popular to this day. Seems like an obvious choice for becoming the next TV guilty pleasure.
