Dinosaurs are Diverse
Dinosaurs are often generalized as monstrous, dumb, reptilian freaks, but don't let that fool you. They are actually a varied group of species related only by their shared archosaur heritage. Some dinosaurs, like Troodon, were probably very smart, and even the blockbuster species could come in small sizes: take, for example, the Alioramus, a horse-sized tyrannosaur (oh man...how cool would it be to ride into school on that thing?). Point being: the famous dinosaurs are just the tip of the prehistoric iceberg. Delve deeper into the hundreds of lesser-known animals that have been found, and you will be astonished by their variety.
