5) Frazzle (Sesame Street)
Sesame Street has always had a concentration of monsters living amongst its human and humanish Muppet residents. Thankfully, for their sakes, they had a zest for learn and not devouring their neighbors. Except that doesn't really apply to Frazzle. Nowadays he's somewhat obscure, but for children between the '70s and '90s, terror wore red fur. Speaking via a series of aggressive snarls, it's no wonder so many of us learned to walk sooner than usual as tots just to turn the television off. Even more disturbing, in his earliest appearances, Frazzle was actually shackled at the neck—and you never chain something up simply because!
