3) Sweetums (The Muppet Show)
There's a simple principle when it comes to a Muppet's—or any Henson creation's—fear factor in relation to its height: The size is directly proportional to how frightening it is. In layman's terms, bigger means scarier, and Sweetums goes above and beyond in solidifying the principle's validity. In spite of a personality befitting his name, Sweetums is a veritable tower of terror, having scared the heck out of us in our youth well before getting acquainted with his gentle side. And don't even say you wouldn't turn right around if you saw him shambling down the street. You're such a liar!
