Ann Leckie - Ancillary Justice

Who doesn’t love a good space opera? Ann Leckie has written a novel called Ancillary Justice that is getting good reviews from just about everywhere. The story follows Breq, who is not a person but a spaceship AI that was previously a ginormous starship with a sort of hive mind thingy that controlled thousands, but because of some serious backstabbing she is left as a single person. Bummer! If it sounds crazy, that’s because it is, but in this case, crazy means original and worth checking out.
