John Scalzi – Redshirts

The most recent Hugo Award winner for Best Novel, John Scalzi’s Redshirts is a must read for anyone who likes their sci-fi novels a bit on the comedic side. It Is essentially a Star Trek: The Original Series parody, but a very effective one that is full of laughs and clever plays on classic tropes that we’ve all been laughing about for decades.
