Ann Aguirre – Perdition

The setting of Perdition alone is enough to get us to read it: a ginormous prison ship orbiting a barren asteroid. This is the first book in a new series centered on Dred, a woman who controls one of the six territories that make up the titular prison ship. A constant war is raging on the ship between different factions, so naturally Perdition is super happy fun times.
