Often when the word “hero” comes to mind, we think of caped crusaders, soldiers on the battlefield, and occasionally a toasted Quiznos sub— but in reality, it’s scientists that have made more of an impact than all of the Iron Men, four star generals and delicious sandwiches ever could. So here is a salute to these scholarly souls in the form of a quiz. The format is simple: we’ll pose to you a claim and you use your keen knowledge and instincts to determine whether we’re speaking the truth or just throwing a steaming pile of horrible lies at you.
