Built by alpha geek Ben Franklin, this armonica has the same friction-based tones you get from running a wet fingertip along the rim of a wine glass. Franklin's version acquired a reputation for being cursed or haunted, but the founding father loved it until the end. In fact he wrote, "Of all my inventions, the glass armonica has given me the greatest personal satisfaction." Sorry, America. Guess you're number two.
