Doctor Who Cast Member, Kate O'Hara, Passes Away
Kate O'Hara, who made her mark as a villain in the original Doctor Who series, passed away yesterday at the age of 74.
O'Hara played the Time Lord adversary Rani. She was introduced during the Sixth Doctor's reign (Colin Baker) and was, in fact, responsible for that Doctor's regeneration. She continued the role during the reign of the Seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy), and reprised the role again during the 30th Anniversary episode.
She was also well known for her work in the 1980s soap opera Dynasty. She will be remembered as one of TVs best conniving evil ladies. We're sure that she's looking down from that great Dalek scrapyard in the sky. You will be missed, Kate!
