Where would science and fantasy fiction be without those objects of extreme evil—whether they be world-shattering space stations or malevolent pieces of jewelry—that give our heroes’ all sorts of grief? Powerful and seemingly indestructible, it really isn’t any wonder why bad guys love using them so much, but then again, isn’t that a bit narrow-minded? We’re sure these items of ill-repute can serve a more helpful purpose—and we’ve chosen eight that have great potential!
