11. The Imperial Guard

The Emperor’s Royal Guard were an elite unit of the Empire that stood watch over Emperor Palpatine. Their sleek and simple costume design is among the most eerie and elegant within the Star Wars universe, and the blood-red color gives them a distinctive pop that sets them apart from just about any characters within the films. They were said to be the “best of the best,” kind of like deluxe model stormtroopers.
