15. Grand Moff Tarkin

Wilhuff “Grand Moff” Tarkin was one of the most powerful fiends that ruled the Galactic Empire and was a driving force behind the construction of the Death Star, and one of the key individuals who stood behind Supreme Chancellor Palpatine as he rose to the rank of Emperor. Renowned horror film actor Peter Cushing played Moff in the original Star Wars, and his long, gaunt face was a perfect match for the character. Tarkin, of course, perished when Luke SkyWalker blew up the Death Star, an ironic turn of events for Tarkin, who was convinced that the Death Star was utterly indestructible.
