Remember way back when Haley Joel Osment was about as cute and cuddly as a newborn puppy? That was before he got drunk and crashed his car into a telephone pole btw. Well, during that time he made A.I. and it’s chock full of moments that will bring on the waterworks harder than a typhoon. This story of a sensitive young robot boy who is abandoned by his human mother and spends the remainder of the film trying to find her in vain has so many tragic plot twists that you might just need to join a support group to talk things through once you’ve watched it.
