Earth from Cherie Priest’s Clockwork Century

For those of you who love steampunk, you probably already know and love the books in Cherie Priest’s Clockwork Century series. It is set in an alternate 19th century United States, where the Civil War has lasted FAR longer than it should have, and technology has advanced to the point where there are steam-powered ships and the like all over the place. To make things more interesting, there are occasional zombie outbreaks, just in case cool goggles and dirigibles weren’t enough to keep you interested.
