When she works from requests for microbes from scientists in the field she will also request that they approve the images she’s found or send some images to her so she knows exactly what they’d like to have stitched.

“I'm not a scientist, myself, so I rely on other people to point out any inaccuracies, and I welcome that feedback,” Watkins said.
