Want to know what Star Wars clone troopers are up to when you’re not watching them on TV or the big screen? From fun activities to getting into trouble, Malaysian photographer Zahir Batin has explored what they might be doing in real life with an amazing series of photographs.

Batin told the MindHut he started taking photos of the action figures in 2013 because he thought it was too wasteful to just display the figures. He was inspired by the work of Indonesian photographer Yohanes Sanjaya. See how Batin has captured these troopers and get some advice for taking your own figure photographs on the following slides!
