King Kong 2005

Still among Peter Jackson’s crowning achievements, the thrilling and gorgeous King Kong was clearly a labor of love for Jackson, who has said that the original film sparked his love for cinema. Perhaps most impressive actor in this 2005 version is Andy Serkis, who through the magic of motion capture, gives an incredibly touching performance as Kong, projecting a warmth that just might bring a tear to your eye.
