What to Watch Before Godzilla

King Kong 1933

Before there was Godzilla there was the one and only King Kong, a film that nearly every great director cites as an influence, and nearly every special effects guru hails as a masterpiece. Groundbreaking in its day, the film has much more to offer than just its classic stop motion effects: simply put, this is one of the most iconic films of all time. If you’re a film nut, then you simply have to see it at least once in your lifetime.
