Nebula NGC 5189

This awesome ā€œSā€ shaped galaxy was discovered way back in 1826 by an astronomer named James Dunlop. Based on the light emissions, Karl Gordon Henize was able to determine that NGC 5189 is a quasi-planetary nebula in 1967.
