Rose galaxies

These two galaxies, known as the “Rose galaxies,” are a particularly pretty sight. The illusion of the rose shape in the top galaxy is caused by the strong gravitational pull on it from the lower galaxy, making one of the cooler sights in the stars. This image was released by NASA on the 21st anniversary of the Hubble telescope’s deployment into space.
