Islands in the Net by Bruce Sterling

Aside from having edited by far the best known short story collection of cyberpunk, Sterling also wrote a pretty important novel of his own called Islands in the Net. Once you’ve read the first few and feel and itch to get better acquainted with cyberpunk, Islands in the Net is another good example. It isn’t as action-packed as Snow Crash and Neuromancer, but it’s interesting if you like your sci-fi novels to be a bit more character-driven.
