Last week, NASA announced that the Rosetta spacecraft, launched in 2004, is finally in the homestretch of its ambitious mission. The plucky little orbiter is gaining on comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, and by the end of the year, our weird species will have pulled off a comet landing for the very first time. HIGH FIVE, HUMANITY! But Rosetta is far from the only awesome astronautical project currently in the works, so strap on your helmet and rev up the rockets—these are the most exciting upcoming spaceflight missions.
