In a chilling revelation that sounds like it could only come from an Evil Dead movie, Harvard University library officials confirmed last week that one of their books, a 19th century text entitled “Des destinees de l’ame," is bound in human flesh. While it’s weird to be sure, there are plenty of other bizarre tomes that unnerve, defy logic, and leave even the most learned of experts hard-pressed to fathom their meaning.
