The Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co., like any good secret identity, is far from what it seems. While one can buy things such as costumes accessories and the speed of light in a can (the laws of physics be damned), the store is actually a non-profit organization called 826NYC, which houses a clandestine creative writing workshop for kids and teens behind a swinging bookcase. All proceeds made from sales fund 826NYC.
