The moon landing is among the most widely watched events of all time—no surprise there. The recording of Armstrong bouncing down to the lunar surface and saying his "one small step" line remains captivating to this day. But NASA recently admitted that somebody at the agency taped over the master copy of the moon landing recordings. They were able to digitally enhance other copies, but the original recording—which would be worth millions today—was lost in some unknown editing bay. Can you imagine being the schmuck who taped over the FIRST MOON LANDING?!  That is truly one small oops for a man, one giant oops for mankind.
