Though popular science fiction and fantasy will always have a hard time getting over the 80s (Tron, most of the Star Wars movies, all the good Star Trek ones, E.T.), the 90s left an even stranger mark on our shared futurist consciousness. And like most decades of imagination, there were a lot of things that missed the mark. Here are six less-than-prescient future fails from pop sci-fi of the 90s.
