Fiction Contest: What Should We Do?

By Miss Marm

Let's do another fiction contest!

Here's the first step:

You tell me what kind of stories you'd like to read and submit. Should they be literary? Genre (horror, ghost, fantasy, romance, etc.)? Should they be told in verse form? Should they be set anywhere in particular? Should we impose other interesting restrictions (every story must include a dog, a mean mother, a bowl of shrimp scampi, the phrase "lickety-split," a reference to Harry Potter, etc.)? Should they be told by a first-person narrator? A second-person narrator? Should we ban anything?

I'm open to all suggestions. Leave them in the comments, or email them to missmarm@sparknotes.com.
