This slideshow thrills me—look at wrinkly old Dorothy Parker ignoring that male model! Whatta woman!

It also makes me long for the days before Facebook, when writers could get work done without moving into a new apartment just to get away from the internet. I spend approximately 23 hours a day watching cat videos and stalking FB albums. It's so much more fun to procrastinate than it is to think of the mot juste. Sometimes I think the only solution is to throw my laptop onto North 11th Street and start working on a typewriter.
