Pick a behavior in your own life or that you have
observed in others and try to explain it
using the concept of operant conditioning
(examples: writing a paper for class; brushing
your teeth; spending time with friends). How
satisfying is this explanation? Can you
think of some behaviors that are not well explained
by behaviorism?
