Henry VI, Part 3 is a play by William Shakespeare that was likely written in 1591 and first published in 1595. It is the final installment in Shakespeare’s trilogy about the reign of King Henry VI of England and the third installment in his tetralogy chronicling the War of the Roses. The play follows the events of the Wars of the Roses, a series of civil wars fought between the rival houses of Lancaster and York for control of the English throne.
