No holiday season would be complete without a hearty rendition of “Auld Lang Syne”—you know, that song they sing at the end of It’s a Wonderful Life. This traditional New Year's Day ditty honors old times and marks new ones, and we decided to write an SAT-themed version for all you test-weary Sparklers. Enjoy!
Should SAT scores be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should SAT scores be forgot
And acceptance letters you'll find.
For all your test prep days gone by
For all your test prep nights
May all your scores be high enough
For supreme bragging rights.
And surely you'll use test vocab
Inside those college walls
And geometry skills will be employed
Down at the old pool hall.
For all your test prep days gone by
For all your test prep nights
May you suffer no more SATs
In this season merry and bright.
Happy New Year, Sparklers! Hope you’re enjoying your well-deserved break!
