Okay, so the big bad ACT is coming up on Saturday. You're still trying to get back into the swing of things after winter break, and it's hard to prepare for the test when you're busy acclimating yourself to a new semester: new schedule, new classes, new teachers, new groups, new rehearsal times, new crush, new everything.
With just a couple of days to go before the big test day, it's time for a little status check. Here are some last minute relax-and-don't-study-before-the-test tips to get you geared up for this Saturday's test:
Those of you taking the SAT this Saturday may already know that we are big proponents of finishing up your last-minute studying the afternoon before the test and giving yourself the evening off. You want to go into the test feeling fresh and energized, and that won’t happen if you spend the night before cramming.
As far as what you do with your evening off, we recommend chilling out. The night before the SAT isn’t the time to go to a raging party or catch a midnight showing of Avatar. Instead, do something fun but low-key and get yourself to bed early.
